The City of Oakland and Crimespotting already offer on-line data about crime. But these tools are difficult to use. What if I want to find out about just burglaries in my beat and figure out if they are up or down for the year? The month? What about just in my Neighborhood Watch area? What can be done to improve on these sites that will enable citizens and the City to utilize them more effectively?
